Run for the Next Generation 5K a Success!
Despite the rain and 15 (okay, there only two) other 5K events going on in Norman, Oklahoma I'd say I was impressed with the turnout to Saturday's run. We had over 150 people sign up online through the Run for the Next Generation eventbrite page and another 50+ sign up on the day of the event. And the online sign ups increased by more than 100% from the 2010 5K! It was definitely a fantastic event with nearly $10,000 raised and loads more ideas to make next year a little more INTERACTIVE... think foam. Yeah, FOAM!

Quarterly Volunteer eNewsletter LAUNCH!
With over 450 volunteers per year we figured it was time to launch something just for them - which brought the quarterly volunteer enewsletter to fruition! It's packed with upcoming events and testimonies from our volunteers. One way to describe it: heartfelt and fun.
